Swirl - Spray
There are many types of swirl nozzles. Swirl nozzles come in two distinct forms - Disc and Unibody
Disc nozzles are less expensive and must be used in conjunction with a retaining nut that holds the disc onto the swirl module.
Unibody nozzles have the disc and the retaining nut in one combined part. The Unibodies are more expensive but easier to install and remove.
There are three types of patterns available - standard, wide and high frequency.
The Standard swirl pattern provides roughly a 1”-2” wide swirl pattern varying based on application distance between substrate and applicator.
The Wide swirl pattern provides roughly a 4”-8” wide pattern based on the distance between substrate and applicator.
The high frequency version provides an extremely fine swirl filament that is useful for applications that require a virtually flat pattern application.
